Introduction

Caroline van Riet (1965) grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, was raised in hospitality and following that obtained key positions within various industries.
The hospitality industry is in her veins, as is the desire to improve the quality within the sector from an external service position. Caroline managed to combine both desires in 1997 when she joined a well known recruitment agency that took the initiative to become one of the first companies to offer recruitment specifically tailored for the hospitality industry as a new concept.

In the following years, Caroline van Riet mainly focused on the hospitality industry, combining this with logistics support.
In 2002 she decided to start her own business with the knowledge she obtained from varying specific corporate cultures and the diverse operating structures and procedures within various organisations.

Caroline started up the recruitment agency Born4Business, a distinctive company with a specific goal and character. Although the company was introduced during a slump in the business world, it has, in the past years, obtained a strong position within the hospitality industry and other relevant fields. Born4Business became IN2Hospitality in 2006 and offers a national coverage, international opportunities through its partners and has an extremely varied network within the hospitality industry.

Guest service and expectations are the focal point of the hospitality world and other service industries. Personality traits and emotions play an important part within these expectations and experiences. Caroline is direct, driven, honest, professional, but also realistic and is capable of looking at the bigger picture within the companies she represents.

Caroline can also be reached through various networking platforms, such as Hotellotop, HSMAI, Hyves, LinkedIn, FZ and other similar networks.

Other activities include the development of various concepts over the past few years, including the introduction of ‘Friends & Brands’, a Food & Beverage focused society, which many industry professionals have joined, meeting regularly to share their market knowledge. She has been an active behind-the-scenes member of VOL, as well as various other platforms in which the focus has been on the Experience Economy within the hospitality industry.
